QUESTER | OSAKA is a hack-and-slash game with dungeon exploration elements It’s set in a world created by famed manga artist Kazushi Hagiwara. The game replicates the classic early PC graphics of old RPG games while adding in its take on the genre with its JRPG elements, stories, and character designs.
QUESTER | OSAKA follows the story of the hero and their party as they traverse through the wastes of the city known as Osaka. Known as Questers, a group of people who survive in such environments, their goal is to dive deep into the abandoned ruins of the old world in search of treasure.
Dungeon diving in a perilous world
QUESTER | OSAKA is set in a world where a virus is spreading, natural disasters are happening, and survival is a challenge. The game combines the old game and visual mechanics from the 80s role-playing games inspired by Dungeon Master and The Bard’s Tale. Both players of the RPG and JRPG genre may find this unique combination something that is worth trying.
The game offers a plethora of additions and mechanics, boasting new questers of up to eight new classes and 32 characters, new background music, weapons, mechanics and skills, and more which enhances the game like never before. Aside from that, players can pick and choose from four preset starting parties should they find it difficult to create a party.
Although the game offers new and unique mechanics and characters to the game, it is a remastered version of the same Quester game that fans came to love and appreciate. It can also be quite difficult given the style of RPG games it was inspired with. Regardless, this is a game worth trying, especially for both classic RPG and JRPG fans.

QUESTER | OSAKA is a love letter and collaboration to both new and old fans of the RPG and JRPG genre with its unique combination of classic Western RPG visuals and mechanics and the latest JRPG stories, characters, and questlines. Additionally, it has numerous customizable weapons. With the best of both worlds, players and fans may find something in the game that's worth appreciating.
